Short bio
Mesh and Distort explores concepts of a nature untouchable to human beings. From darker atmospheres to blinding and ethereal scenarios, each piece is created not only to be visually attractive to the observer, but also to generate non-consensual interpretations. Symbology and materials are not chosen arbitrarily.
Although the images represent scenarios that could belong to dreams, or in some cases nightmares, elements of the real world are always present. Using textures out of context, we give organic elements an unnatural stiffness. We create digital sculptures that move to accentuate concepts and tell stories. You are all invited to explore a world created by Mesh and Distort and find meanings and feelings where they may, or may not, exist.
Born in Porto in 1998, is a 23 year old dog lover and freelance graphic designer, who describes his style as being "creative, simple and suited to each situation". Has a degree in Communication Design by ESAD Matosinhos. Telmo considers that the function of a designer is to transform society through his work.Currently, he divides his attention between the design of furniture, the management of a company's communicative department and its art as a way of freeing his more creative self. He fell in love with 3D tools (Modelling and Animation) in the last year of college.
From then on, he discovered what he considers to be the best way to express himself, despite finding himself in an infinite search for his true style.

Pensamentos | Thoughts #3
I really like to give rigid and shiny textures to organic elements. These sculptures are born and fill my eyes. This short video is a visual study of an iridescent texture that I later used in other works. Kinda felt in love for the colors.

With this piece I wanted to demonstrate a feeling of frustration at not being able to achieve something, whether it be an object, a person or a dream. The movement is interrupted a short distance from finishing, leaving the end of this sequence in suspension.

Conscience
Buy NFTWith this work I wanted to replicate the felling of Conscience, that all mighty being
What a strange concept that we create, a small voice that constantly annoys and orders to do good and avoid evil. My question is, can we really trust her? Or is it an almost schizophrenic experience to listen to the voices in our heads?

Angel #1
I wanted to create this creature that could very well be a symbol of worship from a contemporary religion. An avenging entity that would come to punish whoever it deemed necessary. It is extremely important to mention that piety was not on the list of priorities for this winged being.
